Dr. Amy Perkins

Dr Amy Perkins is a UK-based Specialty Doctor in Dermatology working within the NHS in Scotland. Her special interests include skin cancer prevention, ethical aesthetic practice, social media literacy, and medical education.

She is currently completing an MSc in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education. Amy is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and sits on the Board of Examiners of the Royal College of Physicians.

Alongside her clinical work, Amy is actively involved in dermatology education, public health advocacy, and research. She is particularly recognised for her work on UV safety, sunbed regulation, and tackling misinformation in skincare and aesthetic medicine, and regularly contributes to professional training, conferences, and media.
